Acrely Farms - Strategic Marketing Roadmap
Company Overview
This project will provide the Acrely Farms intern with ownership of researching, planning, and outlining the full development roadmap for a new botanical product line (i.e. an herbal body oil, seasonal wellness blend, or spa-only treatment product). The objective is to take one concept from ideation to near-launch readiness, delivering clear next steps for the Acrely Farms team to execute a successful product launch.
Project Description
Students on this project will conduct a market and competitive analysis of wellness, spa, and botanical products - comparing trends in ingestible versus topical formats and identifying market gaps and unmet needs. They will evaluate competitor positioning, pricing, and ingredients, and validate findings through a short survey or small focus group. Based on the research, the intern will develop a product concept including target customer, packaging, ingredients, and pricing, while incorporating sustainability considerations. The project will conclude with the creation of a go-to-market plan, including a launch timeline, defined roles, promotional tactics, and a basic profitability snapshot estimating costs, margins, and revenue potential.
