About Us
Paxel.ai is an AI-enabled platform purpose-built for pharmaceutical manufacturers and their sales teams. Our mission is to enable smarter selling, quicker decision-making, and deeper connections with the customers and partners that are crucial to our clients’ success. Paxel.ai is laying the groundwork to take its AI-enabled Unified Customer Relationship Management System (Pulse.ai) and its proprietary Data Management Platform (Fusion.ai) to market.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Product Marketing Intern to help sharpen our go-to-market focus by researching, analyzing, and organizing intelligence on events, associations, media outlets, and other touchpoints that influence generic pharmaceutical manufacturers. This role is designed for a resourceful, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable digging into external sources, calling organizations, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights for our leadership and sales teams.
Beyond research and market engagement activities, this role will also support positioning, messaging, and storytelling efforts—working closely with our Head of Design and Chief Product Officer to build tools and collateral that activate and enable our GTM activities. This internship is a hands-on opportunity to experience how great product marketing aligns the voice of the market, the story of the product, and generates sales leads that will drive the revenue and market adoption goals of the business.
Responsibilities
- Engage in key activities that clarify and reinforce intended product positioning and messaging (i.e., making sure our story is told consistently and accurately across all targeted channels).
- Conduct structured research on pharmaceutical industry events, conferences, associations, and media channels relevant to our target manufacturers.
- Reach out to event organizers, associations, and publishers to request participant lists, sponsorship details, and media opportunities.
- Track and organize findings in our Beta Customer Pipeline workbook. Define and prioritize activities to further engage with beta customer targets.
- Identify trends across competitor and customer activity on LinkedIn, trade publications, and conference participation.
- Develop a structured playbook of priority targets (events, associations, media, etc.) that align with Paxel.ai’s customer creation strategy.
- Provide concise weekly summaries of research progress and recommendations for leadership review.
- Enable sales and outreach activities with the creation of collateral and messaging that will resonate with target audiences.
- Generate qualified leads that a sales professional can manage through his or her sales pipeline.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an MBA, Master’s in Marketing, or related graduate program
- Strong research, communication, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable engaging with external organizations via phone and email to gather information.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize and contextualize market data and quantify the value of target opportunities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and LinkedIn research.
- Interest in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or B2B SaaS marketing is a plus.
What You’ll Gain
- Exposure to the go-to-market strategy of an early-stage AI SaaS company.
- Hands-on experience in market intelligence, positioning, segmentation, and demand generation.
- Mentorship from experienced product and go-to-market leaders.
- Opportunities to contribute to real product marketing deliverables and decisions on event participation, channel selection, and industry positioning.
