Break Free Candy - Inventory Management System for Candy Production and Sales

Company Overview

Break Free Candy is a vegan candy company dedicated to creating ethical, allergen-friendly treats while building real opportunities for marginalized communities. We craft handmade candy bars that are dairy-free, egg-free, plant-based, and created with love. Our mission goes beyond sweets — we are committed to saving animals and creating as many jobs as possible for formerly incarcerated individuals, queer folks, and others who are often overlooked in traditional hiring spaces.

Project Description

Students on this project will create a simple inventory management app using Google AppSheet.  Students will add tables in AppSheet to capture inventory and will generate the app in as AppSheet views, which will provide an interface to the data.  The inventory management app will track each ingredient and final candy bar. Students will also interface the database to the sales processing platforms for wholesale, retail, Shopify, and in-person sales.
