The Marketing Intern supports a wide range of marketing efforts by gaining hands-on experience assisting with proposal development, marketing materials, and digital content while collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and updating marketing materials such as brochures, project sheets, presentations, and resumes 
  • Support proposal and qualification package preparation (RFQs/RFPs), including formatting, proofreading, and coordination 
  • Help manage website updates and social media content 
  • Conduct research on markets, clients, and competitors 
  • Assist with content development, including project descriptions and company news 
  • Support marketing efforts for conferences, career fairs, and community outreach events 
  • Organize and maintain marketing files, databases, and photo libraries 
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather project information 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe InDesign, or similar design tools 
  • Basic understanding of website content management systems
  • Strong writing and copyediting skills

Required Education:

Required: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited institution.
