Paxel AI - Product Quality Associate Intern

Join the Mission: Product Quality Associate Intern (Paxel AI)
At Paxel AI, we provide an innovative full-stack AI solution to the pharmaceutical industry.  We don’t just build tools; we build solutions that empower our users to conquer their daily struggles and achieve their highest aspirations. We are looking for a Product Quality Associate Intern who doesn’t just want to "check boxes" on a test plan, but who wants to become the ultimate advocate for our users.
In this role, you aren’t just a tester—you are a Product Guardian. You will step into the shoes of our users (specifically sales representatives), internalizing their goals and aggressively hunting down anything that stands in the way of their success.

What Makes This Role Different?
Most QA roles are about finding bugs. This role is about empathy and advocacy. You will be successful here if you treat every user frustration as a personal challenge and every "mission-critical" bug as a barrier to someone’s livelihood.

Key Responsibilities
1. Master the User Persona
To test effectively, you must understand the "Job to be Done." You will:
Interrogate AI: Use ChatGPT and internal models to research and simulate our target user personas, deeply understanding their professional goals and daily hurdles.
The Daily Feedback Loop: Listen to one Feedback Loop (FBL) call every day. You’ll hear directly from users about their struggles, then apply those insights to your testing strategy.
The Sales Persona: Adopt the DNA of a sales rep. If a feature wouldn't help a rep close a deal or save time, it’s an issue worth raising.
2. Aggressive Issue Uncovery
We have failed if a user finds a bug before we do.
Hunt, Don't Just Hover: Go beyond the testing plan. Be aggressive in finding edge cases, especially in high-impact areas like DEA management and new account workflows.
Prioritize the "Job": Be guided first by the user experience and second by the manual. If the app is technically "working" but the experience is painful, it’s a bug.
Quantify Your Impact: Track your daily "kill count" of bugs. We measure success by the average number of issues uncovered per hour, categorized by Mission Critical (blockers) vs. Nice to Have (UX improvements).
3. Radical User Advocacy
Be the Voice in the Room: The most important person at Paxel is the user. You must be confident enough to advocate for them, even if it means "bothering" the CEO or the engineering team to get a fix prioritized.
Transparent Insights: Frequently post your findings and user-centric insights in team chats. Don’t just report bugs; explain why they matter to the user's journey.

Qualifications
Relentless Curiosity: You want to know "why" things work (or don't) and how they could be better.
Empathetic Mindset: You can easily step into someone else’s shoes and feel their frustration.
High "Owner" DNA: You take pride in the product’s quality as if it were your own company.
Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with software testing principles and a knack for breaking things.
Communication Skills: You are articulate, persuasive, and unafraid to speak up for what’s right for the user.

Why Paxel AI?
This isn't a "get coffee" internship. You will be at the front lines of product development in a fast-paced AI startup. You will gain experience in Product Management, Quality Assurance, and User Research, all while being mentored by a team that values your voice above the hierarchy.
