Position Summary

We are seeking a Machine Maintenance Planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities for production equipment. This role works closely with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Stores, and outside vendors to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Prepare daily and weekly maintenance schedules based on production priorities and machine condition.
  • Review equipment history to identify recurring failures and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate labor, spare parts, tools, materials, and vendor support before planned work begins.
  • Track preventive maintenance completion, equipment downtime, breakdowns, and maintenance backlog.
  • Support improvements in equipment availability, maintenance response time, and preventive maintenance compliance.
  • Help develop and improve maintenance checklists, job plans, and equipment standards.
  • Coordinate major repairs, shutdown maintenance, equipment overhauls, and installation projects.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs, downtime, and spare-parts usage.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate schedule changes to affected departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in equipment maintenance, maintenance planning, manufacturing engineering, or production support.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and programmable machine-control systems.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, planning, and communication skills.
  • Experience with maintenance management software such as SAP, Maximo, eMaint, or a similar system is preferred.
  • Experience in die casting, machining, automation, or automotive manufacturing is preferred.
  • Recent graduates with relevant manufacturing or equipment experience are encouraged to apply.
