TheraPay Solutions - Client Intake App for Mental Health Practitioners

Compay Overview

Nearly half of all private mental health practitioners start their clinics without any business education. Unsurprisingly, these same business owners also name the administrative strain of running a practice as their #1 emotional distressor. This heavy burden weighs on clinicians because they don’t have access to essential analytics that inform strategic decision-making.  TheraPay Solutions addresses this problem by 1) innovating the client-intake process, 2) by de-identifying private healthcare information, and 3) by providing clinicians with an easy-to-use advisement dashboard.  This company is in the University of Utah's MBC program.  Exciting leadership & experiential opportunities are available to students who contribute to this project!

Project Description

Students on this project will design & program a client-intake software that 1) successfully de-identifies private intake data, 2) stores the fragmented de-identified information in secure databases for retrieval, and 3) encrypts de-identified information for uploads & analysis.  The ultimate deliverable will be an analytics dashboard -- integrated with AI -- that retrieves, calculates & displays key performance metrics in a format that therapists find easy to use.  While not required, software engineers familiar with SOC 2 compliance are encouraged to participate on this project.
