Proposal/Business Development Specialist

Job Description
Credence seeks a high-energy, detail-oriented individual to conduct a variety of professional writing, editing, research, and analysis assignments in support of Credence’s Proposal Development, Marketing, and Business Development efforts. Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, writing skills, and the ability to multi-task, as well as an interest in learning a variety of skills while working with technical and management professionals. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Multi-task on a variety of assignments in support of various functions of our corporate headquarters team, to include the proposals development, marketing, business development, and recruiting teams
• Support large-scale federal business proposals by copy editing, formatting, and developing content; manage the submission of small-scale proposal efforts
• Provide content for the company’s website and produce content for various social media venues
• Communicate and coordinate with teaming partners
• Conduct research using various tools and compile information in an easy-to-absorb manner
• Support cost-price proposal development, including assistance with cost build-ups, travel estimates, and methodology explanations
• Work with technical staff to edit technical writing and develop content
• Review and edit resumes for submission to clients
• Review documents for conformance with federal proposal requirements
• Develop illustrations and graphic representations
 
Job Requirements:
The Proposal/Business Development Specialist will be responsible for working collaboratively with Credence team members on a variety of tasks and should possess the following experience: 
• Experience editing documents thoroughly and providing thoughtful comments to improve writing in terms of grammar, content, organization, voice, etc.
• Experience conducting research using a variety of tools and the ability to provide clear and concise analytical reports to senior staff
 
Should possess the following abilities, skills, and education levels:
• Is highly detail-oriented and has superior writing and editing skills
• Is able to balance and prioritize work, as well as manage quick turn-around assignments for a variety of needs, while maintaining attention to detail
• Has superior communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with and manage deliverables from diverse teams of professionals
• Has 1-4 years of experience
• Has a sound knowledge and understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe
 
Education Requirement
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in applicable field (English, writing, business administration, marketing, computer science, etc.)
