Technical Software Engineer - Full Time Position Job Details
About this Job
The Technical Software Engineer is part of a team that delivers industry-leading business capabilities and computational sciences through proprietary, commercial-grade software. This role actively collaborates with internal customers and software development teams to develop software solutions to ExxonMobil’s global business. The Technical Software Engineer participates in all aspects of application development including work planning, user research, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
Desired Skills
- C++, Python, C#
- Scientific computing, numerical analysis
- Tableau, Spotfire
- UI development e.g. WPF and QT frameworks, UI patterns such as MVVM
- User Center Design (user research, usability studies, interactive and visual design, paper prototypes and other low fidelity design methods etc)
- Knowledge or experience with Agile Development
- Development and support of web applications
- Experience with Cloud platforms
- Experience with API development
