Software Engineer (SOLIDWORKS Cloud Development)

What will your role be?
·        You will be an integral part of a small and dedicated team within the SOLIDWORKS R&D division developing professional grade Cloud-based CAD applications
·        This is a unique opportunity to work on the cutting edge of CAD application development within a “start-up” environment and still part of a multi-billion dollar, internationally recognized organization
 
The challenges ahead
·        This challenging role is responsible for the next generation of SOLIDWORKS CAD Assembly Modeling design functionality
·        The Software Engineer will work in conjunction with a variety of very talented software professionals in a matrixed and highly dynamic environment
  • Planning and execution of sophisticated application components to meet development goals in a timely, high quality fashion will be expected
 
Your key success factors?
·        Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Computer Science field or STEM area 
·        Strong web application development experience
·        OOD/OOP (C++/C#) application development skills required
·        Good JavaScript and HTML experience required 
·        Cloud application development experience
·        Some experience with DevOps concepts and exposure is helpful
·        Experience with GIT version control a huge plus
·        A background in CAD/CAM and Mobile development preferred but not required
  • Great software design skills and sound engineering instincts
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Flexible working style required
