Senior Operations Planner

Responsibilities:        

On a monthly basis, develop the long-term (18-month) plan to balance machine and labor resources and recommend level-loading where demand is greater than the resources. On a weekly basis, plan the demand requirements with available resources and communicate plans with the Shop Floor Scheduler. Collaborate with Sales, Inventory Analyst, Logistics’ Manager and Scheduler to optimize Service Level, Inventory Turns and Space.

2 year degree in business administration, operations management, logistics, or other related function, as well as an APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).

3-5 years

Planning position with manual and systems based planning experience and success in reducing inventory levels while improving on time shipping performance.
