Manufacturing & Production Associate for LUMEA

LUMEA is a company that provides innovative pathology diagnostic services to clinics and their patients as well as software and technology that is both cost and time-saving to laboratories nationwide. We are currently looking for a part-time (20-30 hours/week) Manufacturing/Production Associate who will be responsible to produce materials and products for the use of clinic customers as well as oversee packaging and shipping. They will report to the Associate Director of Manufacturing and may provide additional support in the research and development areas for the company as needed. This role may also include assisting various members of the operations team in fulfilling needs within the company’s operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Assemble/manufacture kit components, sub-assemblies, and finished product by following instructions to the letter
  • Assist with Research and Development focused projects as needed
  • Maintain equipment used in manufacturing product
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of component materials and supplies needed for production, packaging and shipping
  • Packaging product, ensuring correct packaging and labeling of inventory
  • Assist with initiating and tracking quality control testing of in-process materials/products
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Outstanding verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with top level staff at a professional level.
  • Ability to be flexible as needs and demands for research and development may change on a weekly or daily basis
  • Previous lab, GMP, medical knowledge/experience preferred
3+ years education/experience – Bachelor’s degree preferred
 Pay: $12/hr to $15/hr
