Hours: Mon-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Starting at $11.00 - $13.00 /hour (DOE) with competitive benefits: Health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, 401k match (4%), dental, scrub allowance, and occasional free meals.
Job Description
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Greeting and rooming patients
- Preparing patients for examination or procedures
- Assisting physician during exams and procedures
- Measuring vitals
- Taking x-rays
- Drawing blood
- Using computer applications
- Electronic Charting: Recording, typing, and updating patient medical records
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Performing basic laboratory tests
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Taking inventory of medical supplies
- Creating charges
Our top applicants are not necessarily the ones with the most experience, but a willingness to learn and adapt. There is room for growth and learning with on the job training.
Job Skills & Qualifications
No prior work experience is required, though we would favor applicants that have had some experience in the medical field. We prefer applicants that are CMA (AAMA) or CNA certified but will consider possibilities such as on the job certification for outstanding applicants.
