Summer Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Material Analyst Internship
Autoliv, Inc., a world leader in the manufacture of life saving devices, is currently accepting applications for a paid, full-time supply chain management internship for the summer of 2019 at Autoliv’s Tremonton Manufacturing Facility (ITO) located in Tremonton, Utah.
Interns will provide support required to ensure necessary material/components are available to manufacture airbags and their components for the automotive market.
Successful applicants must have strong analytical and communication skills. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, have a good work ethic, and be a team player. Position requires follow through on commitments, and a strong attention for details. Candidate must have the ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- May plan, schedule, and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving, the warehouse, and/or supplier to production.
- May develop raw material requirements and schedule requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.
- May plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
- May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
- May negotiate lead-times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery.
- May maintain/monitor inventory levels, transactions and accuracy.
- Have good listening skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Education:
Preferred candidates will be in their junior or senior year pursuing a Supply Chain Management Degree from an accredited university.
