Fall 2019 Analyst Intern
Cross Creek Advisors is a Salt Lake City based venture capital fund specializing in investing in late stage companies and other venture capital funds. 19 of our company investments have had successful IPOs, and 13 have been acquired by public companies. We have investments in more than 50 domestic and international venture capital funds.
We are looking for a fall/winter semester analyst to support our investment team. As an analyst intern you’ll help conduct due diligence on potential investments in addition to supporting the managing directors with monitoring investments in the portfolio.
This intern position is a 15-20 hours per week, 4- 8 month paid part-time role intended for someone currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
The anticipated start date for the role is mid-August 2019.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Due Diligence Support
- Updating Portfolio Company Models
- Deal Screening
- Market/Competitive Research
An ideal candidate would have:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills – modeling skills preferred
- Excellent Excel skills
- Be self-motivated and able to direct their own work
- Have a passion for technology and innovation
- Understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts
- Willingness to learn and engage on projects
