Accounting Intern
Firetoss is looking for a Finance/Accounting intern. The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties. This internship will teach various important accounting functions, including:
- Managing Accounts Receivable
- How to use Accounting Software
- How to post Journal Entries
- Preparing and pulling key financial statements
- Gathering and reporting a company's Key Performance Indicators
- Account reconciliations
Responsibilities :
- Assist with month-end financial reports
- Help with accounts receivable and payable reconciliation
- Assist in collecting past-due payments from clients
- Support in payment processing
- Data entry
- Credit checks
Requirements :
Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position. Interns will be supervised by the Accounting Manager. The internship will last during the Summer semester.
