 The Human Resources Coordinator will support the human resources function and overall business by doing special projects and assisting with general administration regarding benefits, training and development, legal compliance, and other human resource issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the function and independent HR projects as assigned
  • Ensuring the effective utilization of plans related to HR programs and services
  • First line of support for employee requests and questions
  • Manage the coordination of onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interview
  • Generate reports including headcount and long service, and understand the impact of what you are reporting to ensure data accuracy
  • Construct and improve company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including interview scheduling
  • Maintain HR records and performance management systems in real-time and with accuracy
  • Acting as a liaison between employees and insurance providers

Requirements:
  • Prior internship experience in human resources or business preferred
  • Ability to create and manage detailed excel worksheets
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Creative problem solver
  • Self-motivated with a bias for action
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must have exceptional oral, written and interactive communication skills
  • Skilled in effective research tactics and time management
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
  • Ability to project a positive and professional image to internal and external customers
