Marketing & Communication Intern Part-time

The Marketing and Communications intern will work directly with the Marketing Director and Campaign Marketing Manager in a variety of functions including; campaign marketing, social media strategy, content creation, project management, and communications.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Management, 50%
- Assist in the analysis, development, and management of outbound email marketing campaigns to increase performance and ensure they work across the buyer's journey and target personas.
- Deliver required campaign contributions on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with other teams in the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy for funnel and revenue growth; provide support for reputation and go-to-market opportunities.
- Develop an understanding of target markets, decision-maker personas, and segmentation strategy.
- Execute A/B tests to optimize email open rates, CTR, and other engagement metrics.
- Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing remarketing strategies.
- Track search engine optimization (SEO) targets and changes over time.
Social Media Management, 20%
- Manage the posting and engagement on all social media channels.
- Assist with the creation of a content calendar for all social media activities.
- Maintain social media relationships with customers and partners.
Content Creation, 20%
- Write regular blog articles to be used in social media and email marketing campaigns.
- Curate a monthly newsletter for current customers.
Communications and Public Relations, 10%
- Build and maintain company press kit.
- Build and maintain contact lists for journalists, bloggers, and influential commentators.
- Seek out byline article opportunities in industry publications.
- Write media pitches to industry journalists.
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or similar field in progress.
- Highly organized approach and strong project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working across multiple geographies, time zones and cultures is highly desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
