HR Compliance Intern
Internship working with HR Legal Services - working 28-40 hours per week for 12 months. Must be currently enrolled in a college or university or have graduated within the past 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Support HR Legal compliance processes including Form I-9, FMLA, ADA, etc.
- Maintenance of legal databases and other files
- Reviewing legal documents for compliance; preparing reports; researching legal issue
- Provides day-to-day support on a wide variety of matters for the Director HR Legal Services, the Compliance Manager, and the Compliance Specialist
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated computer skills with significant experience in spreadsheet, database, presentation, word processing, and e-mail software products
- Excellent writing, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
- Work well in a team environment and promote the standards and teachings of the Church in the work setting;
- Ability to analyze and document complex legal situations and effectively explain them to others;
- Demonstrated initiative to complete projects and stay on task;
- Demonstrated attention to detail and experience in research;
- Experience in a legal setting helpful but not required, training will be provided.
- Must be able to quickly learn complex processes.
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program, or a recent graduate (within previous 12 months)
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and provide a current temple recommend upon hire.
