Designer
Autoliv ASP, Inc., a world leader in the development and manufacture of automotive safety systems (airbags, seatbelts, etc.) is currently accepting applications for a Designer to work at our OTC, Ogden Utah facility.
Job Responsibilities:
· Design components or portions of systems and modify existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
· Work with inflator design engineers in developing final design criteria and developing detail drawings.
· Check completed drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.
· Use computer-assisted design software and/or graphic tools such as CAD.
· Need to work with global inflator engineers
· Need to be proficient in CATIA V5
· Works with global purchasing teams to set strategy and coordinate common suppliers or spend
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Associates degree in CAD discipline and/or math proficiencies to include basic algebra and trigonometry.
- Unit conversion skills
- Mechanical Drawing skills
- Experience with Office productivity software a plus.
