Admin Assistant for Startup

Pay $20/hour

Sleepyhead is a rapidly growing college lifestyle brand that offers affordable, high-quality mattress toppers to both on-campus and off-campus housing communities. We are dedicated to giving back to students in need through donations per ten products sold. 

Sleepyhead has a board of directors and investors including current or previous executives of: LoveSacStarwood HotelsGoldman Sachs and Coca-Cola. Recently, we co-contracted with over 900 universities in all 50 states. 

Sleepyhead sells directly to consumers through its website www.SleepyheadUSA.com and through well-known online college specific retailers www.Dormify.com and www.OCM.com under the Sleepyhead brand.

Position: Work with an exciting startup that cares about community impact, giving back and creating sleep solutions. We are looking for one talented individual who can help the Founder/CEO with multiple rolls. No experience needed – just a will to learn and evolve. Pay is $12/hour.

Location: Downtown Salt Lake City / Sugarhouse Area

Duration of Internship: 6+ months starting July – December 2019, with the possibility to work into full-time employment and equity in the company.

·      Ability to learn and wear multiple hats
·      Manage calendar and meetings for CEO 
·      Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
·      High level of writing and editing
·      Email assistance 

Required Qualifications: 
·        Minimum 3.0 GPA 
·        Able to work a part time schedule, during the week (about 20 hours/week)
·        Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
