Inbound Call Center Representatives - Seasonal

Do you like sales without any out-bound calling? Are you looking to earn some additional cash? We’re looking for positive, motivated, and energetic people to work as Seasonal Call Center Representatives for our current busy season!  We would love to have you join our team and help us fill customer orders, answer questions, and offer order add-ons.  Position Highlights (see full job description below):
  • Training Class Start Date:  Monday, September 30, 2019. Three week training period - 7:30a - 4:00p, Monday-Friday.
  • Duration: Start of training class through approximately January 4, 2019. We will work around your college start dates!
  • Rate of Pay: $12.50 per hour during training period / $13.00 per hour once successfully trained and on the phones.
  • We can work around your school schedule! Available schedules will be anywhere between 20-40 hours per week based on call volumes.
  • Our Call Center Hours of Operations are Monday-Friday from 7:00a – 6:00p (What? No nights or weekends!) You must be available to work a shift between those hours.

 Job Summary: You will be the first personal contact our customers have with FranklinPlanner. You must be able to provide exceptional customer service and sales that will meet or exceed our clients’ expectations. You’ll answer incoming sales calls from FranklinPlanner catalog customers, correctly fill their order requests, and offer additional products to complement and complete their order. Strong sales skills wanted! Must be patient and pleasant with our clients.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Answer all incoming calls and place product orders in a call center environment. You’ll be responsible to handle calls regarding: initial order sales, status of orders, exchanges/returns, order tracing, credits, and reshipments.
  2. Develop a strong knowledge of our products so you can suggest products to our customers wisely, and upsell items that match their needs.
  3. Identify and solve customer service issues to the customer’s satisfaction using your own front-line authority.
  4. Represent FranklinPlanner and strengthen their positive, professional image by providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Must meet and maintain compliance to all company and call center quality standards and policies.

Requirements:
  1. One year of customer service/call center experience is preferred.
  2. Must have proficient sales skills.
  3. High school graduate or equivalent.
  4. Type 30 WPM / 10-key by touch
  5. Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  6. Possess strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements:
  1. Must be able to attend a three-week (40-hours-per-week) training period—100% attendance is required (no exceptions).
  2. Once trained, you must be able to work 20 to 40 hours per week based on the needs of the Call Center. You’ll need to be flexible, as your hours may fluctuate—but we will work around your school schedule when necessary.
