Market research intern for clean tech engineering company

LiqTech, a clean-tech company providing high-tech industrial water filtration solutions to customers worldwide, is looking for an intern to help the Managing Director of the North American division do research on market opportunities in various industrial markets in North America.

LiqTech is a public company traded on Nasdaq, and is growing extremely rapidly due to its successful clean-tech solutions for industrial water treatment. LiqTech's solutions involve a new type of filtration system based on silicon carbide membranes which utilize nanotechnology. LiqTech's technology is unique and there is very little direct competition.

The intern would assist in doing market research on business markets, competition, regulatory changes, and opportunities for the company and our ground-breaking technology. The intern would be a critical partner to the division's senior manager by providing reports and summaries of the market research performed. The research would be key in helping senior management set company strategy. Hours are flexible, and work will be performed remotely, over the phone, and through occasional meetings in the Provo area.

Engineering expertise in filtration, water treatment systems, water treatment, industrial water chemistries, environmental engineering, or other clean-tech technology is preferred but not required. Market development and market research experience is also a plus. Spanish language proficiency is also a plus.

Hours are very flexible, and the average work load is expected to be 10-15 hours a week, depending on availability. Bonus is available based on performance and number of hours worked.
