The following part-time teaching position is open to start ASAP at Prattland Music Adventures.  We are located at 3370 N Digital Dr #140, Lehi UT 84043.  

Part-Time Hourly Cello Teacher
Starting at $15 - $20 per hour (depending on college degree & experience teaching)
Up to 28 Hours per week; hours flexible based on need; our school hours are Mon.- Fri. 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. & Sat. 9—5 p.m.

Job Description:  
  • Plan and Teach Cello to students ages 4 - adult using effective methods (including Smart Music; see www.smartmusic.com to learn more)
  • Maintain Positive Relations with students and their parents (if applicable)
  • Plan, Organize, and Carry Out recitals and other performances for your students at least every semester

Minimum Requirements or Qualifications:  
At least a High School Diploma, and pursuing a college degree in Music or Music Education
Ability to teach effective lessons and assist students in making progress
Ability to work well with others & relate well to students
Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
Experience teaching is preferred. 
                                                                 
Recommended Qualifications:  
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (performance, pedagogy, or education) from an accredited college or university
