PreSchool (Pre-K) & Music Teacher
The following part-time teaching position is open to start Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Prattland Music Adventures. We are located at 3370 N Digital Dr #140, Lehi UT 84043.
Part-Time Hourly PreSchool (Pre-K) & Music Teacher
Starting at $18 - $22 per hour (depending on college degree & experience teaching)
At least 14 Hours Hours per week; hours are NOT flexible; our PreSchool hours are Tue.- Fri. 8:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Job Description:
- Plan and Teach Reading, Writing, Math, & Music lessons to students age 4-5 (early childhood) using effective methods.
- Integrate Music into ALL areas of the curriculum, when possible.
- Maintain Positive Relations with students and their parents.
Minimum Requirements or Qualifications:
At least a High School Diploma, and pursuing a college degree in Early Childhood Education, Music, or Music Education
Strong background in early childhood education AND music is a must!
Ability to teach effective lessons and assist students in making progress, including intellectually, socially, physically, and musically.
Ability to work well with others & relate well to students age 4-5.
Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
Experience teaching is preferred, particularly with young children age 4-5.
