Sorenson Capital Partners, a leading middle-market private equity firm based in Lehi, Utah, has launched its intern recruiting process for Spring/Summer 2021. This is a fantastic opportunity for all Freshmen & Sophomores interested in private equity. Previous SCP interns have placed at leading investment banks and management consulting firms including Citi, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Lazard, Greenhill, Bain & Company, LEK, and Deloitte Consulting.

Sorenson Capital Internship – Spring/Summer 2021
Intern experience:
- ~40 hours / week (full time); paid position
- Work remotely in Sorenson’s office in Lehi, Utah (potential for onsite work pending COVID-19)
- Exposure to basic financial statement analysis, valuation, and company/industry diligence
- Connections with local professionals who have experience at great companies (e.g., Citi, Lazard, McKinsey, Bain, LEK, BMO) and business schools (e.g., Stanford, Harvard, Wharton, Booth)
- Source and evaluate potential growth equity and buyout candidates
- Populate and maintain detailed company sourcing database
- Perform preliminary evaluations and diligence for potential investments
- Assist deal teams with company tracking and market research
Qualifications:
- Students of all majors who graduate after August 2022 (i.e., Freshmen & Sophomores preferred)
- Interest in a private equity career
- Strong academic performance, on-campus involvement, and relevant experience
Timeline:

- Spring/Summer internship: April – September 2021 (90-day internship with somewhat flexible start/end dates)
