Content Strategist (Copywriting Emphasis)
We are seeking a content strategist with a heavy emphasis in copywriting to make an immediate impact on our growing team. The ideal candidate has a passion for branding and content strategy, with a clear communication style and the ability to write clear, creative and compelling copy for a variety of mediums.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive brand consistency across all company communication by improving and implementing Create Room brand voice and tone guidelines.
- Work with team to grow and enhance content strategy across platforms.
- Produce clear, creative and compelling copy for various content types, such as email, product pages, sale landing pages, banner ads, social media assets, web content and more.
- Research, draft, write, and proofread weekly blog posts and newsletters that build our content strategy.
- Collaborate with content team to develop compelling campaigns and creative content.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A portfolio of a variety of writing samples
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of experience in Marketing/Advertising copy and/or content strategy
- Excellent creative eye and ability to execute on creative concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills - extremely detail oriented
- Passionate about all aspects of content marketing
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
