Salary up to $44.76/hour

The Multimedia designer plans, organizes, develops, and coordinates content for eLearning and communication projects.

The Multimedia Designer also participates in various phases of development including initial concept, scope/requirements, instructional and multimedia design and development, assessment, and post project analysis.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, innovative individual, with an aesthetic sense of design and strong technical skills (including: articulate storyline; Adobe Creative Suite, video/audio editing software, programming languages, LMS) to produce high-quality products and/or online training solutions using industry standards.

S/he will possess an understanding of interactive graphical user interfaces, Mac and PC hardware/software, digital simulation, animation, and interactive exercises to ensure the effective transfer of knowledge along with improving the users’ experience.

Additionally, the candidate should possess strong project management experience, the ability to work both independently and in teams to produce highly successful outcomes, and be able to provide exceptional customer service in a demanding environment.

An ideal candidate will also have a solid background in building online learning solutions and learning management system (LMS) integration; the ability to leverage their extensive knowledge of adult learning principles, and experience as a trainer.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer instructional design, computer science, or related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

EXPERIENCE:
Two years of experience in the multimedia and learning industry or equivalent developing, coordinating, and conducting information or instructional programs. Experience in developing, creating, and/or producing web-based multimedia programs and other knowledge sharing solutions with strong writing skills is highly preferable.
