Online Course Builder (remote)
The Online Course Builder takes existing teacher lessons and builds out student-facing content
through our proprietary Lesson Builder. The Course Builder will use a style guide and
templates as well as creative problem-solving to create highly engaging lessons for students
from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Essential Job Functions
- Using existing lesson plans, create online student-facing presentations.
- To utilize sound instructional and graphic design principles to build engaging lessons.
- To work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and designers to implement feedback.
- To track build progress and meet deadlines.
Job Requirements
This position requires a sound proficiency of basic online tools, including Microsoft Office and
Google Suite, as well as familiarity with slide-building tools like Powerpoint or Keynote. Design skills, like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Sketch, are preferred. User Experience (UX) helpful. Position requires problem-solving skills as well as strong, proactive communication. This is a contract position with rigid deadlines, so the candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
