Assistant Account Executive

We are currently looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join our LA team!

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily activities on client accounts
  • Support day-to-day communication with clients
  • Write strategic media pitches, press releases, media alerts, social media copy, biographies, newsletters, etc.
  • Create, update and expand targeted media lists
  • Secure consistent and quality media placements with active pitching and support from your manager
  • Develop and maintain solid media relationships with journalists, bloggers and social media influencers
  • Prepare and present aspects of meeting agendas and take notes.
  • Spearhead administrative work including reporting, press kit maintenace, briefing books, etc.
  • Perform in-depth research and analysis of clients (audits) and vet media and influencer visits
  • Research and keep track of relevant industry events, lists, awards, etc.
  • Stay up to speed on current industry news, trends and technology
  • When needed, assist with organizing and attending events

Requirements:

  • BA or BS in related field
  • Minimum two-year related experience, ideally in real estate, lifestyle and/or wine + spirits
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in AP style
  • Proficient in Muckrack, Taggr, newswires, MS applications
