 LEAPnLearn Nonprofit aims to secure the future of childcare infrastructures by empowering culturally and linguistically diverse communities to own and operate their centers through a childcare management system.  Our focus is on providing childcare centers with the childcare management tools and professional development support they need to thrive, ensuring sustainability in providing quality childcare and early childhood education.  Through our Childcare Management Platform Development Project, we have been actively assisting childcare providers in establishing robust management practices, streamlining operations, and enhancing professional development. This project reflects our commitment to fostering inclusive environments where diversity is celebrated, and every child receives the care and education they deserve.

Project Description

Students on this project will join LEAPnLearn in building a GoReact plugin on an existing website. This module will enhance the training and professional development of early childhood educators with an efficient solution for teaching and training. The student team will contribute to workshops, storyboarding, prototyping, testing, managing user testing, and flow optimization. The student teams will contribute to structure and development frameworks as intern product strategists in the product development process. Specifically, the student team will recommend an approach to application development according to the student team’s abilities. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and impactful project, helping to secure the future of childcare centers and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
