Animator/Multimedia Production Assistant
Animator / Graphic Designer / Production Assistant
Pay: $18–$20/hr depending on experience
Schedule: Part Time ~16 hours/week (3 - 4 hours/day, 4 days/week — flexible start times, consistent schedule)
Location: Hybrid (Logan, UT studio + Remote) — must be on-site at least 2 days/week
Start Date: Available immediately
About Us:
We’re a small, scrappy creative studio cranking out video, web, and marketing content that actually looks good.
Most days are laid-back. Some days we’re running around moving lights, cleaning up messes, and racing to hit deadlines.
We keep things loose but expect you to care about what you’re making.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Part-Time Animator/Multimedia Production Assistant who can move between After Effects wizardry, Photoshop sorcery, occasional camera wrangling, and studio clean-up duty without losing their mind.
If you’re the type who can design a killer lower third and isn’t too proud to take out the trash after a shoot, you’ll fit in here just fine.
What You'll Actually Do:
Animate titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other motion graphics
Design graphics for web, social media, and print (and make them not look boring)
Edit short videos (if needed)
Tinker with WordPress and update basic web content
Pitch in on video shoots when needed (carrying lights, getting crafty)
Help keep the studio clean, organized, and functional (yes, that includes the occasional toilet wipe down)
You Need To Be Good At:
Photoshop and Illustrator (like...actually good, not "I made memes in high school" good)
After Effects Expert (titles, transitions, basic animation — NOT cartoons)
Premiere Pro (for basic edits and trims)
Managing your own time without constant reminders
Working fast when needed, but staying cool when it's slow
Using ChatGPT or similar tools smartly (we don't want to reinvent the wheel every time)
Bonus Points If You Can:
Shoot photos or video decently
Edit videos without getting lost in the timeline
- Work in WordPress (updating pages without breaking the site)
Write basic HTML/CSS without panicking
Navigate Beaver Builder like a champ (look it up)
Stuff You Should Know:
We're flexible on schedule, but you'll need to be on-site at least 2 days per week
When you're remote, we do monitor project progress (nothing creepy, just accountability)
Expect a mix of “heads-down creative time” and “let’s clean up the studio” time
We’re not corporate — no layers of meetings, no soul-crushing policies — just show up, do good work, stay honest
Education:
High school diploma required
Fancy degree optional (your portfolio and attitude matter way more)
How To Apply:
Send your resume and a portfolio (showing graphic design + motion graphics work)
Email to: info@madenicely.com
(Portfolio required — show us what you can actually do.)
